There are two trends en vogue today with regards to Hotel / Spa & Resort photography. Stylized lighting that strategically illuminates architectural interiors and lifestyle set-ups vs. the classic clean aesthetic that captures a natural look and feel of the environment. Christopher Barr specializes in environmental photography and lifestyle photography that is organic and real. This doesn’t mean that we don’t use strategic lighting or polish the images to elevate production values. It means our goal is to capture and enhance without crossing the line of believability and a natural sense of space. It means the lifestyle photography reflects spontaneous moments in oraganic settings that appear genuine and unposed. Christopher Barr has been shooting resort spa and hotel photography on location for over 17 years. His client list includes many of the most recognized names in resorts, casinos, rehabilitation clinics, theme parks, health clubs, spas and hotel groups. In addition to advertising photography, we also shoot corporate portraiture including location and studio portraiture of general managers, executive chefs and hospitality staff for publicity, promotion and annual reports.
